Chapter 2 of the Divine Principle is broken down into sections. Each section is further broken down based on sub-sections. There is a 1-hour lesson plans focusing on the individual topics from the sub-sections (ex. Ch 2 Section 2.1). Lesson plans are geared toward a high school level class. Each lesson generally includes a Divine Principle reading, some key talking/discussion points, and a simple activity or action step. Just a note; sections 2 and 3 from this chapter were combined and the lessons for both sections can be found under “Section 2”.
SECTION 1: THE ROOT OF SIN . . .

•“Freedom and Forgiveness” Lesson Obj: Understand what true freedom is and why God gave it to us and that God is always seeking to connect with His children no matter what they have done.

•“The Commandment as an Object of Faith” Lesson Obj: Understand why God gave the commandment to Adam and Eve and how we can use God’s word to direct our life during the period of indirect dominion.
•“The Period in which the Commandment was Necessary” Lesson Obj: Understand that the need to follow the commandment was a temporary requirement so that Adam and Eve could build a strong foundation in their future relationship.
