1) Introduction
Who knows the story of Moses? Before telling the story ask the children what they know about Moses.

Ask the children to retell the story in their own words. Can they put the pictures in the correct order?

What was the passover?
Why did the Israelites complain?
How did Moses feel when they complained?
What did they eat in the desert?
Who is God’s chosen person today?
Why should we trust Father and do what he says?
Why should you trust your parents and do what they say?
How do your parents feel when you complain?
What should we do when life is difficult?


4) Activity
* Moses Board Game
– OBJECT OF THE GAME: To follow Moses to The Promised Land.
– MATERIALS NEEDED: 1 game board
– 1 pawn per player 1 die
– TO PLAY: Each player selects a pawn and places it on EGYPT (Start). The players take turns  rolling the die and moving the number of spaces indicated. The first player to reach “THE PROMISED LAND” is the winner.

* Worksheet
– draw a picture of Moses
– answer the questions

To conclude ask each person what they could learn from today’s lesson. Refer to the lesson aims:
