2) Tell the story
(a summary) Mrs. Se Hyun Oak met Father in Pyongyang in 1946 and became one of his very first followers. After praying one day, she received a revelation telling her to meet a special man in a certain place. It was Father. Many early members were guided by spirit world to meet Father in such a way.

Key points of the story
1. The story takes place in 1946 in Pyongyang, before Father went to Heung Nam Prison Camp
2. Mrs. Oak was wealthy and she and her husband held an important position in a church
3. She prayed a lot and received a revelation, which guided her to Father
4. She was very impressed by Father’s powerful message
5. Her family did not like her visiting Father and it was difficult to leave home
6. She heard a voice telling her to go to Father and help his work. Her hand started shaking and only stopped when her family let her go.
7. It was a difficult time for Father’s followers. The communists sent a spy to get information, which led to Father’s arrest
8. While Father was in Heung Nam Prison Camp, most followers lost faith. Only Won Pil Kim and Mrs Oak continued to have Sunday Service. Mrs Oak visited Father 5 times and always gave positive reports about members in Pyongyang, even though most lost faith.
9. When Father escaped from Heung Nam he looked for his followers in Pyongyang. He met Won Pil Kim and they stayed in Mrs Oak’s home
10.Later when Father travelled south to Pusan, Mrs Oak met him and continued to support his work, when he lived in a small shack.
11.Mrs Oak never lost faith in Father, during a very difficult time.

3) Discussion Questions
* Mrs. Oak received a revelation to find a young man on the mountain. What is a revelation?
A revelation is a message from God.
* How might that have happened?
We might here a voice, see a vision or have a dream. God speaks to all of us, but we have to be sensitive to be able to receive God’s message. Because Mrs Oak prayed alot, it was easier for God to guide her. We may not hear a voice, but God can speak us through our heart.

* What is it like to receive a revelation? Have any of the children had a revelation? Has anybody got an inspiration to do something?
A sudden idea that pops into our head may be spirit world trying to guide us. Or a strong feeling to do something may also come from God.

* When Father could not be found in prison, the spiritual world told Mrs Oak he was still alive. What does that mean? How can spirit world tell?
The spirit world can see things we cannot see. People in the spirit world can travel quickly

* Can you imagine what kind of feelings Mrs. Oak had when she listened to such a young man teaching her about God? How could she know he was different from any other young man?
He had a powerful message. He prayed deeply. He had a very loving heart. She had a strong feeling that he was special. God had sent her to Father
