1)Introduction
* Today’s story is about when Hak Ja Han met Father for the first time. It was 1956 and she was 13 years old. Who has met True Father? When did you first meet him? Where? How old were you?
What do you remember? What was your impression of Father? How did you feel?
* Explain the background to the story by reminding the children about the three churches that Mrs Hong met. Use visual aids to explain The Holy Lord Order Church
Kim Halmoni of The Holy Lord Order Church received revelations that Jesus did not come to die and that a new Messiah would be born in Korea. She was arrested by the police, beaten and later died in prison. When Hak Ja Han was a baby the spirit of Kim Halmoni appeared to her mother and said that her daughter was a very special baby, and would become the “queen of the universe.”
The Inside Belly Church
Mrs. Ho Ho Bin of the Inside Belly Church also received revelations that Jesus did not come to die and a new Messish would be born in Korea. When she prayed her stomach moved. Jesus told the group to make clothes for him. Later Mrs Bin was arrested and died in prison.
The Unification Church (HSAUWC)
Sun Myung Moon received a new revelation – The Divine Principle. It explains the Jesus did not come to die and that a new Messiah would be born in Korea. He had already been in prison three times and almost died. Show a picture of the Chong Pa Dong church
2) Tell the story (a summary)
* Hak Ja Han’s mother had been searching for the new Messiah all her life. When she met the Unification Church in 1956 she realized that her search was over. She moved to Seoul and became the church cook. Later she brought her daughter to see Father. When Father saw her, he recognized that she was a very special person.

1. What did Hak Ja Han do when she entered the room?
– she bowed deeply
2. What did Father say to Mrs Hong? What did he ask?
“You have a very lovely daughter, don’t you? …. Does she study well?”
3. What did Father ask Hak Ja Han?
– “What is your name?”
4. What did she reply?
– “My name is Hak Ja Han.”
5. What did Father say about Hak Ja Han?
– “Oh Heavenly Father, you have given such a woman, Hak Ja Han, to this country of Korea!”
6. What did Father mean? What was special about her?
– Mrs Hong had received a revelation from Kim Halmoni in spirit world that her daughter would be the queen of the universe and must take good care of her.
– Hak Ja Han had been trained by her mother to rely on God. She was an obedient child, lived a disciplined life, prayed a lot and had a very pure heart.
7. Mother was special and God had plans for her. What was that plan?
Hak Ja Han’s’s whole life had been a preparation to meet the Messiah. Her mother had to train her to rely on God and stay pure, until that time
8. God also has plans for our lives. What do you think is God’s plan for your life ? Ask God and find out.
– Each of us is special. Blessed children are especially precious to God. God especially loves and cares for Blessed children.
9. Each person has certain gifts, which God wants us to use. What are you really good at?
clever, sporty, artistic? Sensitive to others people’s feelings, a good leader, friendly, trustworthy, a good listener, a strong conscience, patient, organized, service-minded, etc…
10. Why should we follow God’s plan?
He wants us to be happy and knows what is best for us?
11. Are you willing to follow God’s plan for your life? If we ask God to guide us He will.
12. Hak Ja Han really wanted to dedicate her life to God, especially after meeting Father. This is what your parents did. Do you know how they met the Unification Church? Why did they join?
How did they dedicate their lives to God? All of the first generation did this, but the Second generation were born into the Church.
13. Hak Ja Han followed her mother and learnt about God and how to be good from her. What did she learn?
obedience, reliance on God, prayer, self-discipline
14. What have you learnt from your parents about God and being a good person. What things do your parents think are important for you to learn.
pray everyday, be honest, respect others, go to bed on time, be a good friend, etc..
