1) The story of Jacob
* Display large pictures of Jacob’s life and ask the children what they know about his life. Can they put the pictures in the correct order? Read the key events from the bible

2) Activities
* Questions and Answers – Ask questions about the story to test the children’s knowledge
* Retell the story – Children retell the story in their own words, using the pictures
* Worksheet – Children cut out pictures and stick them in the right order and write the correct words
* Game – Memory game showing key events

3) Review the aims
To conclude ask each person what they could learn from today’s lesson. Refer to the lesson aims:
