UNITING DREAMS & REALITY

  1. Tell your team that money, time, and resources are no longer an issue for your ministry.
  2. Brainstorm together your dream youth ministry.
  3. Pick 5-10 main points from that dream that really matter to your group.
  4. On a board or large piece of paper draw a vertical line to split the space in half.
  5. Label one side “dreams” and put the list you created on that side
  6. Label the other side “reality.”
  7. Explain: Would it be nice if we had unlimited resources? Of course? Can we still make our dreams a reality without those resources? YES!
  8. Come up with counter proposals for the “dreams” list that are actually doable with your ministry and your resources. 

I promise what you’ll find is that everything is possible if you make it work for your community.
