A fun way to get to know new things about each other

  1. Have the group mingle around for a few minutes and then call “find a new friend.” The youth should all pair up with someone new (encourage them to pair up with new people!).
  2. Let the pairs get to know each other with the goal of finding 3 unique things that they have in common. When the pair has found 3 things in common they should sit down to indicate they’ve completed the task.
    1. The more unique the better. It’s best to try to stay away from things like “i’m a girl…. I go to school… etc.” This is a chance to get to know new things about each other.
  3. If some pairs are having a hard time, some of the pairs that are sitting down near them can help them come up with new ideas.
